大家都了解，到2020年7月Aeroplan就要和Air Canada解除合作关系。Aeroplan的将来让人很担心。不过昨天（2018年7月19日），Aeroplan的母公司Aimia宣布了一些Aeroplan的计划。

1）Aeroplan会变得更灵活。We are strengthening our air offering and beginning July 2020, Aeroplan Members will be able to choose any seat on any airline, anywhere at any time, bringing them closer to their travel ambitions, whether that be a sunny getaway, spending time with friends abroad or exploring the world.
2）届时，对北美飞以下的目的地，Aeroplan换机票所需要的里程不变【除此以外的所需里程可能会增加，如飞非洲或欧洲飞亚洲等等。嗯，总体上还是可以接受，绝大部分朋友主要还是飞这些航线，就是不知道燃油费会不会改变】。
The following round-trip flights will be offered beginning at the following Aeroplan Miles:
• North American short-haul: 15,000
• North American long-haul: 25,000
• Mexico and Caribbean: 40,000
• Europe: 60,000
• Asia: 75,000
3）用户获得Aeroplan的途径更多更快。Value is also created by earning miles faster, allowing members to reach a reward sooner. Aeroplan is committed to strengthening miles’ accumulation options, evidenced by the recent renewal of partnerships like Home Hardware and new opportunities to earn under recently announced arrangements like Amazon.ca.
4）对一些热门的routes，Aeroplan会和航空公司合作，只为Aeroplan会员提供charter航班【实际效果比较可疑】。We have routes where we have enough redemption demand today that we can fly a daily charter throughout the year on some particular routes. Those will be dedicated Aeroplan aircraft that are flying just for Aeroplan.
5）2020年时，Aeroplan将可以转换到近20家航空公司的里程【这个有些意思，但Aimia没有提转换率是多少，估计不会是1:1】。It is also introducing a points transfer program in 2020 that will allow members to convert Aeroplan Miles to the loyalty programs of nearly 20 airlines covering several alliances, giving them wider access to flights and hotels.
聚沙总体上对2020年7月后的Aeroplan不是太看好，我更期待Air Canada的新里程Program，及AmEx是否会和Air Canada合作推出新的信用卡或MR转里程。我会尽量在2020年7月前把手头的Aeroplan用完。
